About Erica Doré:
I was heavily influenced from a young age by my family who are creative within design, merchandising, antiques and music. Being naturally artistic, I channeled my creativity in interior design studying at The Art Institute of Seattle, finishing at Central Washington University.
I also was the kind of kid who delighted in organizing my room, painting my walls and decorating (creating “vignette displays” with my toys), and studying ways to simplify starting in high-school. I liked the idea of being able to creatively express myself in my environment, and the kind of impact it had (and now has) on my life, mood, and health.
Today I love working with residential homeowners to guide them in the process of refreshing their spaces, or imagining what could be in a new build. My background in professional organization results in a design process that is streamlined and detailed, which often reflects in my designs as well. I hold a LEED Green Associate Certification (green practices) and love to create healthy + sustainable homes through reuse and low VOC materials. Additionally, combining professional organization and closet design, I love to help make people’s lives easier with effective storage solutions.
Personally I am a kind, collaborative, and detail-oriented designer. With my background and skill-set, my hope is to help you create a home that you love.
Cheers & with gratitude,
Erica
